What do the 4-star Europa-Park hotels “Santa Isabel” and “Castillo Alcazar” have in common? The popular family hotels were once again singled out for a special award by the holidaymakers who use Germany’s largest holiday and travel portal, “HolidayCheck”. The medieval "Castillo Alcazar" and the 4-star superior hotel "Santa Isabel", which exudes southern charm in the style of a Portuguese convent, were delighted once again to have received the coveted award. A total of around 1 million guests last year voted the two hotels among the most popular accommodations in the country. “We can look back on an extremely successful year and a room occupancy rate of over 95 percent. Receiving this important award again shows that our work is paying off,” said Thomas Mack, Managing Director of the Europa-Park, at the award ceremony. The world's largest travel website, TripAdvisor, also had prizes to send to Rust. The prestigious ratings portal distinguished four of the resort’s hotels with the Travellers' Choice Award, placing them among the top ten hotels in Germany.

“It’s simply wonderful how everyone tries their best to ensure that guests have a lovely stay” was the enthusiastic verdict of visitors from Switzerland on the friendly service in the “Bell Rock” hotel. The New-England-style hotel was awarded third place, and the "Colosseo" with the Italian “Dolce Vita” flair took fourth place in the prestigious hotel ranking. The “El Andaluz” and “Castillo Alcazar” hotels secured a very good seventh and eighth place. In addition, the Europa-Park was honoured for the second time with the "Sunny Heart", an award for hotels recommended by at least 95 percent of the guests of Thomas Cook and Neckermann Reisen. The hotel "Colosseo" defended its "Sunny Heart Award" in the "Family Road Trip" category. The "Bell Rock" and "El Andaluz" hotels came in second and fourth place.
