A master from Brescia

Roberto Radici’s new fresco paintings in the Medici restaurant

It couldn’t be more Italian. The new frescos in the "Medici" restaurant painted by Italian master, Roberto Radici, create the feeling that one is in a Florentine landscape of bygone days. Radici, who lives in Brescia in Lombardy, is one of Italy’s most sought-after fresco masters. Since the opening of the "Colosseo" hotel, the internationally active artist has been working regularly in Europa-Park hotels. The fresco painter and portraitist took his inspiration from the work of Leonardo da Vinci when designing the suites and rooms in the "Colosseo". His most recent works can now be admired in the Medici restaurant. Using lime plaster, earth paints and natural pigments, which he applied to the wet wall using the fresco technique, he has created fascinating scenes from historical Italian landscapes as well as portrait medallions of Roman emperors. Radici's works also adorn the presidential palace in Ankara, in the wellness area of the Hotel Adlon in Berlin and in the Eden Dorchester in Rome.
