The shell is complete, the countdown has begun. We have just celebrated the topping-out ceremony.  The new
Krønasår hotel will open in spring 2019 before the Water park. Rooms can be booked from this summer onwards. So if you can't wait, you can already secure your dream room in this new spectacular hotel. "Krønasår" is embedded in a fantasy world on a legendary Nordic island. As part of the new Rulantica Water World, the "Krønasår" will be the sixth addition to the Europa-Park Hotel Resort. The spectacular façade, which is modelled on a Scandinavian port city, is already clearly recognisable. This large hotel, consisting of several connected buildings, is already standing proud overlooking a 4,500 square metre fjord, which separates it from the water park.

Hotel residents can access the water park directly via a separate entrance (from the end of 2019) or take a shuttle bus to Europa-Park. The style and atmosphere of the new hotel is deeply embedded in the intricacies of the Rulantica story, which runs through the entire water park, and the “Adventure Club of Europe” (ACE).

The story focuses on two orphan children, who hide in a museum of natural history and from there set off on a fantastic journey to the Scandinavian island of adventure, “Rulantica”. Krønasår is not just a great place to stay, but guests are immersed in the fantasy world of the Rulantica saga, where there is a lot to discover.

Guests are already amazed when they enter the foyer. There they are greeted by the skeleton of the huge sea snake called “Svalgur”, which hangs down over several floors. The corridors and individual rooms also feature explorers maps, bookcases and showcases full of exhibits. The interiors are reminiscent of captain's cabins on a long voyage of discovery. The "Krønasår" caters for up to 1,300 guests. This explorers hotel has 276 themed rooms and 28 lovingly designed suites. The range of restaurants includes the old boathouse themed “Bubba Svens”, which caters for up to 650 guests, and the fine dining restaurant “Tre Krønen”, which seats 220. The “Chef ́s Table” provides an exclusive view of the kitchen for up to 20 people. Two modern event rooms that can be used in many ways extend the range of confertainment facilities at Europa-Park. “Nowhere else in Germany is a hotel being built that is so deeply embedded in its theme world,” emphasises Thomas Mack.
