The taste of the sea

‚Bubba Svens’– the main restaurant in the hotel ‚Krønasår’

‘Bubba Svens’ is just like being in an old boathouse. The large new restaurant with room for 750 is the culinary highlight of the new hotel ‘Krønasår’. The restaurant features many different themes.
In one area, you feel like you’re in a shipyard or locksmith's shop, but in another area the design is all about rowing. The impressive ship hanging from the restaurant’s ceiling is the ‘Wiking Saga’ – an original replica of a Viking ship with which the explorer and circumnavigator Burghard Pieske sailed across the Atlantic in the 1990s.

Guests can choose between the spacious à la carte restaurant ‘Bubba Svens’ and the fine dining restaurant ‘Tre Krønen’ which can host a total of 220 people.
The Chef’́s Table provides an exclusive view of the kitchen for up to 20 people. Scandinavian cuisine is the overarching theme featured throughout the entire range of dishes on offer. All meals were developed in collaboration with the Danish chef Brian Bojsen – a familiar face on the ZDF TV programme ‘Küchenschlacht’ (Kitchen Battle).

The ‘Erikssøn’ bar, which is named after the Icelandic explorer Leif Eriksson and located directly behind the hotel foyer, is based on a Northern nautical theme and stretches over two floors. You can indulge in a creamy, sweet treat at ‘Café Konditori’ which serves typical Scandinavian cakes and desserts.
