The construction works for the new hotel “Krønasår” hotel, which will be completed in 2019 and located next to the new “Rulantica” water world are in full swing. “It is fantastic to see how it is developing,” says the pre-opening manager of the hotel, Matthias Altmann. As the liaison person between the project participants, for several months he has been in charge of organising the design of the ca. 300 rooms, drawing up staffing plans and developing concepts for the integration of the hotel into the resort. Altmann, who was born in Heidelberg, works in close coordination with the hotel and gastronomy management departments. His responsibilities include putting together the future management team for the hotel, guiding co-workers around the gigantic building site and working on plans for the restaurants. Everything must be right, from the bed linen to the wine glasses, so that the guests in the new hotel feel comfortable. Thanks to his professional experience in Switzerland and Austria and because Altmann likes to travel himself and appreciates wine and good food, he knows exactly what makes guests happy. “With the hotel "Krønasår", we will have another unique themed hotel in Europa-Park”, explains the 33-year-old with pride. Altmann was previously assistant to the CEO of Europa-Park. "With the addition of the “Rulantica” water world, Europa-Park is developing even more into a short trip destination. The guests will complement their visit to the park with a day in water world – or vice versa”, says Altmann.
