The Schlemmer Atlas of the Busche Verlag publishing house has named Roland Mack Restaurateur of the Year 2017. The award recognises his life's work and the success story of Europa-Park from its opening in 1975 to the present, where the park boasts the largest continuous hotel resort in Germany and has been voted the “world’s best leisure park". Roland Mack is particularly proud of being honoured as a restaurateur as well as a leisure park owner.
