The Europa-Park Mack family were delighted to receive the “Hotelier of the Year” award in 2020. Now Thomas Mack has scooped up yet another prestigious prize.
He has been named “Successful Restaurateur” of the year by the industry magazine “Fizzz”. The jury of the “Fizzz Awards 2020” highlighted his “enormous attention to detail and commitment to working at the highest level”. It also praised the innovative strength of the Europa-Park executive: “He is a game changer in terms of park gastronomy and sets high standards that resonate far beyond Germany. In doing so, he impresses the entire industry with cutting-edge concepts, high-profile events, remarkable collaborations and a highly motivated team.” With this award, the trade journal rewarded the outstanding performance of the graduate hotelier and the high quality of Europa-Park, the Rulantica Water World and the six park-owned hotels. This includes more than 100 gastronomic establishments – from front-cooking buffet restaurants to the world's only two-star restaurant in a theme park. For more than 20 years now, the “FIZZZ Awards” have been presented annually, honouring the best gastronomy businesses in Germany and provide information about trends in the industry.
