First of all, tonnes of pumpkins, apples, corn stalks, chrysanthemums and hay bales for Halloween (Halloween season is from 26th September to 8th November) have created a spooky yet beautiful autumnal backdrop, then in winter it smells of gingerbread and thousands of lights sparkle out of the Christmas trees sprinkled with snow. Europa-Park is an inviting wonderland for a holiday in Europe, even during the colder months. Visitors can discover 15 European countries in just one day. While the guests pursue proper winter sports on ice skating rinks and ski slopes in the Scandinavian themed area, The Poseidon water roller coaster in the Greek themed area provides lively entertainment, even in winter. For the winter season from 28 November 2020 until 10 January 2021 (closed 24/25 December), Europa-Park will be transformed into a winter wonderland and will be artistically illuminated.

Europa-Park will also be open between the Halloween and winter season for the first time. Our “HELLOwinter” period from the 9th to the 27th November will bring a mix of creepy, beautiful, spooky and fantastically beautiful winter weeks. The “Colosseo” and “Krønasår” hotels will then be open throughout and the “Santa Isabel” hotel will be open from Friday to Sunday. There is a magical atmosphere in the hotels too. The 4-star superior hotels “Colosseo”, “Santa Isabel”, “Bell Rock”, the new “Krønasår - The Museum Hotel” and the 4-star themed hotels “El Andaluz” and “Castillo Alcazar” provide an atmospheric setting for your dream overnight stay. Festive decorations highlight the wintry lustre of the hotels, while culinary delights invite guests to indulge. During the HELLOwinter and winter period we are running a campaign so guests will receive a 20 per cent discount on their hotel booking, which includes an overnight stay, breakfast and entry into Europa-Park and/or Rulantica. The Camp Resort offers pure wintry romance as guests can stay overnight in heated log cabins and wooden wagons at selected times (see europapark.de/camp-resort).

The water theme park of Rulantica will be open daily until 10 pm from the beginning of the Europa-Park 2021 summer season (excluding the 24/25th December). After this period, other opening times may apply. There is a lot of water fun to be had for guests in the nine different themed areas. The new relaxation area “Hyggedal” will also be open in autumn. Apart from Rulantica, the “Colosseo” and “Krønasår” hotels will be open throughout and the “Santa Isabel” hotel will be open from Friday to Sunday during the low season from 11th January 2021.
