It’s been a long time coming, but now it’s arrived: next stop, Europa-Park. Two long-distance Euro-City-Express (ECE) trains per day now stop in Ringsheim, close to Europa-Park, on route between Frankfurt and Milan. From there it’s only a few minutes by bus to the main entrance of the park. Visitors previously used to have to travel the final section of their train journey with the regional train, which was inconvenient. Now families from Frankfurt can reach Europa-Park in less than two hours by train. Even Cologne or southern Switzerland are only three hours away from “Ringsheim/Europa-Park”, as the station will be called from the end of 2021.
