Leonie von Hase is “Miss Germany 2020”. Born in Namibia, she was chosen as the winner by a prominent panel at the final at the Europa-Park Arena. The 35-year old entrepreneur and mother-of-one proudly accepted the crown and sash. After the decision, the winner said: “I intend to represent Germany with elegance, dignity, charisma and strength.” 22-year-old Lara Runarsson from Bavaria took second place. Third place went to former Miss Hamburg, student Michelle-Anastasia Masalis.

18–39 year olds can apply to be crowned the most beautiful woman in Germany. And for the first time, in addition to looks and character, their personality and life stories were also assessed. The panel was also all-women this year for the first time. This included former CSU politician Dagmar Wöhrl and presented Frauke Ludowig. “Miss Germany” was chosen from 7,500 applicants.
