Golfing for many good causes

Europa-Park is partner of the "Eagles Charity Golf Club

The philosophy of the “Eagles Charity Golf Club” is as simple as it is convincing: Prominent golfers earn donations for good causes and people in need. Founded in 1993 by former ski stars Christian Neureuter and Christa Kinshofer, among others, the club helps aid organizations, charitable institutions and individual victims of strokes of fate by raising money through charity golf tournaments. Among the currently more than 130 members of the “Eagles” are Franz Beckenbauer, Jan Josef Liefers, Stefanie Hertel, Rea Garvey and Otto Waalkes, as well as Wolfgang Kubicki and Claudia Jung. Europa-Park has been supporting celebrities in helping out since 1997. Since 2005, it has organized the “Europa-Park Eagles Charity Golf Cup”, only a few kilometers away from Rust on the course of the “Europa-Park Golfclub Breisgau e.V.”. In 2022, the enormous amount of 50,000 euros was collected for the fast and unbureaucratic support of Ukrainian athletes. In total, the “Eagles” have already generated more than 40 million euros in donations
