At the invitation of the Mack family, twelve families from the Ahr Valley visited Germany‘s largest theme park. A coach organized especially for the group took the participants to Rust, where they were able to experience two carefree days full of action and adventure with their children after the difficult months.
Many reported that at the time of the flood wave, they had to take refuge in the attics of their houses or even move the entire family on the roof gable. Even after months, the tragic event as well as the clean-up work are still exhausting, so that the families were extremely grateful and happy to be able to enjoy this time-out at Europa-Park.
