Sculptures by Clemens Heinl

"Encounter" exhibit in Europa-Park

They are rugged and expressive, completely unrefined. The angular, wooden character types created by the sculptor Clemens Heinl preserve the naturalness of the material through the precise workmanship with his favourite tool – the chainsaw. The “Encounter” exhibition in the Europa-Park Resort displays 16 works by the multiple award-winning, internationally active artist. As life-sized personalities, the wooden figures stand opposite the visitor almost as if they are real people and animate him or her in an amazing, lively dialogue. The figures really look as though they are alive. The coloured paint the artist applies to his figures as a finish accounts for the original and unmistakable charm of these humorous works and reflects the cheerful world view of the sculptor.

The exhibition in Europa-Park, which is organised in collaboration with the Thomas Menzel Gallery in Kenzingen, can be viewed from 26.11.2016 to 8.1.2017 in the entire hotel resort.
